  • Any registered college student, over 15 years of age, as of 1st January, 2017, is eligible to participate in ‘Transform Maharashtra - The Plan’.

Friday, 31 March, 2017 Online Voting closes
Wednesday, 5 April, 2017 Result declaration. Invites will be sent out to the teams selected for attending the National Convention
Monday, 1 May, 2017 ‘Transform Maharashtra - The Plan’ Finale


  • Every team must comprise of either 5 or 6 members
  • There can be multiple teams from a college
  • A single team can submit entries across different themes
  • Each team must appoint a Team Coordinator and all communication between ACT and the team will happen through the Team Coordinator
  • An individual can be part of multiple teams but can’t lead more than one team
  • During registrations, the following details are required:
    • Details of the Team Coordinator
    • College name
    • City name
    • Preferred Theme
    • Details of the other team members
  • Verification mail will be sent to the Team Coordinator at the time of signing up
  • E-mail notifications will be sent to all team members after the completion of the registration process

The presentations prepared by the teams can be structured in the format mentioned below. Please treat this structure only as a guideline, innovations are always welcome.

    • Reasons for selecting a specific cause(s), if selected

    • Comparison with existing alternative(s)
    • Strengths and Weaknesses of the Solution

  • The Presentations should be submitted in PPT/PPTX or PDF format
  • The Presentation size should not be more than 2 MB
  • The Presentation should not have more than 10 main slides or 5 pages. References, annexures, separating slides and title slide will not count as part of the 10-slide presentation or 5 pages
  • The minimum font size in the Presentation is 12
  • The Presentation should be in the font "Calibri" or "Times New Roman"
  • In case of any changes post submission, the Presentation can be re-submitted until the submission deadline


Winners will be decided based on Judges’ criteria and popularity:

  • All entries will be judged based on popularity as measured by the number of votes received on ‘Transform Maharashtra’ website
  • Simultaneously, all entries will be judged based on Creativity/Innovation, Feasibility and Scalability
  • Top entries across Judges’ criteria and popularity will be sent to an Expert Panel for selecting the final winners
